Frequently Asked Questions
Where is TSwaterjet located?
We are based in Sever do Vouga, in the district of Aveiro. All production takes place at our premises.
How do they operate – as subcontractors or as direct suppliers?
We work on a subcontracting basis and in partnership. We manufacture components that other companies incorporate into their products and equipment, and we oversee the process from order placement through to delivery of the part.
Do you have your own technical team?
Yes. We have an in-house technical department that analyses each order, assesses the feasibility of the part and monitors the entire production process. Technical decisions are made in-house, without any intermediaries.
Do you make one-off pieces or just mass-produced items?
Both. We handle prototypes and one-off pieces as well as larger production runs with the same level of consistency.
Which sectors do they produce for?
We manufacture products for the metalworking industry and for industrial maintenance, as well as for architecture, construction, the energy sector, and metal and street furniture.
What services do they provide?
Waterjet cutting, laser cutting, bending, welding and machining, as well as engineering and product development. We have brought these technologies together under one roof, which enables us to oversee the entire manufacturing process of the part.
Do they cut, bend and weld the same part?
Yes, and that is our main advantage. The same part can be cut, bent, welded and machined at our premises, based on the same drawing, without having to coordinate with several suppliers.
Do they develop products based on an idea, even without a finished design?
Yes. In the field of engineering and product development, we start with a requirement or a rough sketch and develop the product together with you, from the technical design right through to manufacture.
